A HERS Rating (Home Energy Rating System) is the nationally recognized standard for measuring a home’s energy efficiency. Whether it’s for new construction, code compliance, or energy rebates, a HERS Rating provides a detailed analysis of how your home performs — and what can be improved.
As a RESNET Certified HERS Rater, I use advanced software and on-site testing (blower door and duct leakage testing) to deliver an accurate score and full documentation for code officials, builders, and homeowners.
Need a HERS Rating to pass code or apply for incentives? I make it easy — from modeling to final inspection.
-
Navigating energy code doesn’t have to be confusing or costly. I help builders, architects, and homeowners meet IECC and Stretch Code requirements with clear guidance, fast documentation, and expert support — from design through final inspection.
As a certified IECC/HERS Compliance Specialist, RESNET HERS Rater, and ICC Residential Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner, I provide:
Code pathway selection (Prescriptive, Performance, or ERI)
Plan reviews & pre-construction compliance checks
REScheck and HERS modeling
ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation strategies
Support during permit submittals and final inspections
Whether you’re designing a new home or fixing a failed permit, I’ll help you get compliant — fast and frustration-free.

REScheck Reports for IECC Energy Code Compliance
If you need a REScheck report to get your building permit approved, you’re in the right place. I provide fast, accurate energy code compliance reports using the DOE’s official REScheck software, accepted by most building departments across the U.S.
Whether you’re a builder, architect, or homeowner, I make it easy to meet the IECC prescriptive path requirements — no guesswork, no back-and-forth with inspectors.
Each REScheck report includes:
Full analysis based on submitted construction plans
Climate zone–specific IECC compliance verification
Official REScheck compliance certificate for submittal
Clear recommendations if upgrades are needed to pass
Fast turnaround (including rush options)
Expert support from a certified HERS Rater & IECC Compliance Specialist
Need your REScheck fast? Submit your plans today and avoid permit delays.

As a certified IECC/HERS Compliance Specialist and ICC Residential Energy Plans Examiner, I provide third-party energy code plan reviews to assist AHJs in verifying compliance with the IECC, local amendments, and Stretch Code requirements.
I help departments streamline their permitting process by delivering professional, code-backed reviews — especially when internal bandwidth or expertise is limited.
Services Include:
Detailed review of submitted plans for IECC & Stretch Code compliance
REScheck verification or Performance Path modeling (if applicable)
HERS Rating review (ERI Path)
ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation assessment (when required)
Written compliance summary with flagged deficiencies
Pre-permit corrections and post-submittal support
Why work with a certified third party?
Faster reviews = faster permits
No need to train or hire in-house energy code staff
Clear, neutral documentation for your records
Easy path to meet local and state-level compliance mandates
Serving AHJs across the nation. I act as a neutral expert — not a vendor — to help your department stay compliant, efficient, and respected.

Certified Duct Leakage Testing for New Homes & Additions
Leaky ductwork wastes energy and can prevent a project from passing code — especially under IECC, ENERGY STAR, and HERS Rating requirements.
I provide blower-supported duct leakage testing using calibrated equipment to measure total leakage (and leakage to outside, if required). As a certified RESNET HERS Rater and ICC Energy Inspector, I ensure your system meets the tightness thresholds required for code approval and performance path compliance.
Testing Includes:
Total duct leakage test (CFM @ 25 Pa)
Leakage to outside test (if required for HERS or ENERGY STAR)
On-site verification and diagnostics
Printable compliance certificate for inspectors
Optional retesting support if corrections are needed
When Is Duct Testing Required?
All new construction (per IECC 2021/2024)
Additions with new ductwork
HERS Ratings using the ERI path
ENERGY STAR and utility incentive programs
I make it easy to schedule and pass your duct test — with expert support if your system needs adjustment.

Certified Blower Door Testing for Residential Energy Code Compliance
Blower door testing is required by the IECC and Stretch Code to verify a home’s air tightness and energy performance. I provide professional blower door testing using calibrated equipment to measure air leakage (ACH50) and ensure your project meets code and passes inspection.
As a RESNET-certified HERS Rater and ICC Residential Energy Inspector, I offer fast, reliable testing with clear results and guidance — no guesswork, no confusion.
What’s Included:
On-site blower door test (ACH50 measurement)
Required for IECC, Stretch Code, and HERS Ratings
Instant results + printable compliance certificate
Optional diagnostics to locate and reduce leakage
Combo pricing available with duct leakage testing
Who Needs a Blower Door Test?
New homes and additions (per IECC 2021/2024)
Projects under Stretch Code or Performance Path
Homes seeking a certified HERS Index
Builders, contractors, or homeowners needing to verify air sealing before inspection
Don’t let a failed blower door test hold up your project. I’ll help you pass — and understand what’s needed if you don’t.
